LIFE APPLICATION

~Think of someone who everyone seemed to look down on, but later turned out to be a good person? Perhaps someone in school, your neighborhood, or at work. Relate that to your relationship with God.

~The blind man did not worry over the unconventional —whether methods or people. All he cared about were results. Baptism in the Bible is rather unconventional because it is by immersion and is messy (see Romans 6:4). Read I Peter 3:21 aloud. How do you feel about responding to Jesus in a way that is unconventional to the rest of the world?

~Have you ever had to stand up for someone who was unpopular? Is Jesus very popular today? How could you stand up for him among your friends? Do you think you will keep your friends by doing so?
