LIFE APPLICATION

~Jesus taught things people did not want to hear. It was against everything many had ever been taught in the past. I Timothy 4:1-3 says, “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons…They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving.” Do some religions disregard this? How does it make you feel?

~The Old Testament prophesied powerful empires would be reduced or go out of existence—Babylonians, Persians, Grecians, Egyptians, Phoenicians, Hittites, Canaanites, Moabites, Edomites, Midianites, etc. Read the last twelve short books at the end of the Old Testament. No human could have known these things ahead of time. Will you show this black-and-white evidence to someone? 

~Scores of prophecies were made about the coming God-King (Messiah) in the Old Testament of the Bible. That way, people would recognize him when he came. Only Jesus fulfilled them all beginning with him being born in Bethlehem. Would reading those prophecies for yourself help you believe Jesus was the Son of God, God materialized? Look up on the internet “Prophecies Jesus Fulfilled”.
